Common ground on climate change and outlook for the next four years
A talk I gave on this topic on January 28, 2025.
I have written and spoken a few times over the past few years about where the common ground is on climate change in the United States, based on my research. I have also written about the role of climate change in the past three presidential elections, and I speculated this past November, here on Guided Civic Revival, about what the next four years might bring regarding U.S. climate policy and greenhouse gas emissions.
Since then, a few things have changed. There have been some executive actions affecting climate and energy policy and climate science, and we also have had some new results coming in from our research. Seems like a good time for an update!
For my latest view on where the common ground is, and what the next four years might bring (subject to high uncertainty), check out this recording of a talk I gave on January 28 to the Department of Atmospheric Science here at the University of Wyoming.
